“A little land - A lot of living"

Welcome!

To be sure, we’ve had our share of ups and downs.

 We’ve learned to laugh at our mistakes.

 But we’ve also delighted in the opportunity to raise a family,

 grow a portion of our own food, and create a life based on Godly values.

 Each month still seems to deliver unexpected surprises.

And we know the continuing joy in opening a jar of tomatoes,

 green beans, or applesauce on a cold winter evening, thinking contentedly,

 “we did this ourselves”. We love country living.

To feel the earth between your toes, to have the presence of wild nature

 in your lives, to feel the freshness of a new morning

and the peace of a quiet, starry night.

 Evangeline for her 4H photography contest years ago.

 Its the view out of our homeschool window!

This past  summer we were able to can a lot of applesauce,

 apple butter, and grape jam. 

We are currently raising a Brown Swiss cow

 to start having our own milk again. 

We put our love into raising each and every Cavapoo Puppy!

It brings us joy to place them in loving homes with great families.
