         A little bit about us..........................

Our Dream

Our dream of having a large family and raising them in the country has come true.

 God has blessed us with 44 acres of beautiful Missouri farm land.

God blessed us with 10 children; seven boys and three girls.

We tragically lost our beloved son Jubal (22 years old) on October 13, 2021. We will forever miss him. 

We are building our new two story home at this time. I will share pics when we finish.

We have the downstairs 75% finished and the upstairs 90% finished.

We are new grandparents now as well! Three grand-daughters, one grandson, and one on the way!

Eight of our children have graduated from Highschool and have moved on with jobs of their own.

They all live in MO near us except for Ethan. He is loving the island of Maui now for 4 years.

Two of our older children are married. They range in age from 35-12 years old.

Our Homeschooling 1992-Present

 We love Homeschooling!

 I have homeschooled my children since the fall of 1992.

 I started my son Titus when he was 4. So that has been 32 years now.

I am currently homeschooling my last two children Abigail and Theo.

Theo is also going to Trade school in the mornings for the next 2 years in welding.

 We have been in the Classical Conversations homeschool group,

as well as other area homeschool groups. I have taught in many of them.

We use the ABeka program mainly and diligently teach our children the old school way with textbooks.

Supplementing with Saxon Higher Math DVD's.

I currently teach Art and Home Economics to a small homeschool group of girls.

We are making candles, soap, crochet, sewing, and quilting. In art we are doing painting.

We will also start some cooking classes like sour dough and breads.

Our Extra Activities

   We have been part of Boy Scouts, Royal Rangers, American Heritage Girls, Saddle Club, and 4-H.

 We love horseback riding, and some of our children have been

on the State Champion Horse Judging Team in 4-H.

 One of our sons is a “horse whisperer”.

Some of our children have participated in Missouri Citizens in Action, and Legislative Academy

in 4-H. We also have a couple Eagle Scouts. 

 Our children participate in the County Fair each year with 4-H.

Theo won first place in the costume contest with our German Shepherd

dressed up like a prisoner in a prison suit.

He is very good in Small-bore 22 Rifle Sports. 

This year Abigail took small-bore, cake decorating, and won ribbons in Photography and Rabbits.

We also enjoy Shape Note Singing also known as FaSoLa singings

in St. Louis, as well as at our church.

We play banjo, fiddle, guitar, and accordion for the gospel bluegrass sound.

 We also play piano, flute, violin, trumpet, and trombone for the classical sound.

Abigail and I are currently taking piano lessons.

       

Our Hobbies

We take great pride in our Cavapoo Parent dogs and puppies!

We wanted a hobby/home business that would involve and benefit our home family.

Some of our hobbies that we enjoy are:

playing chess (love the St. Louis Chess Club), volleyball, tennis, ping pong, basketball, and softball.

 They tell us we have enough for a team!
 

We plant a large garden, and enjoy canning. Tomatoes, applesauce, and green beans in abundance!

 Our Apple orchard is doing great. Our grape vines are producing juice! We made grape jam this year.

Donna and Abigail enjoy sewing, cooking, bread making, and soap making.

Our Work

Tom (father) is self-employed. Along with our sons Nathan, Jedidiah, Jairus,

 and our daughter Elizabeth they operate a construction business.

 Recently they started a fire, water, and mold damage business.

Titus has his engineering degree from Missouri Science and Technology in Rolla.

Ethan works construction in Maui.

Evangeline is lead marketing agent at a big auto company in St. Louis.

Abigail has her Pupperchief business sewing puppy bandanas.

She also cleans a business office a couple times a month.

My name is Donna and I am mom and teacher; which is my full time job.

I am also a professional breeder since 2012.

I work to educate myself in the dog and puppy fields.

 Someday I will take Vet Tech classes.

 God has blessed us to be able to raise our dogs and puppies. We love them!! We hope to be a blessing to you by bringing you a Happy, Healthy, and Snuggly Puppy!
